What You'll GetCompetitive payExcellent pension schemeTraining and career growth in outdoor maintenanceActive and hands-on role in a great team Your Daily Responsibilities:Mow, trim, and maintain grassed areas using council equipment.Plant, prune, and care for trees, flowers, and shrubs.Ensure public spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained.Assist with seasonal landscaping projects such as flower beds and winter gritting.Work as part of a team to support groundskeeping, repairs, and upkeep.Carry out general cleaning and litter collection in public areas.Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times. What We're Looking For:An NVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent qualification.ORA minimum of 12 months' grounds maintenance experience gained within a commercial environment to include the following: Grass cutting, horticultural and grounds maintenance experience, including the set-up, safe use and routine maintenance of a range of horticultural equipment / machinery to include ride on grounds machinery;General maintenance of outdoor areas e.g. parksKnowledge of Health & Safety legislation and its application in the workplace to include working with a variety of plant and equipment.Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to use gardening tools and landscaping machineryA positive attitude and strong teamworking skillsA full current driving licence (Category B valid in the UK).
