Main Purpose Of The Job
* Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose.
* Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
* Support and manage the staff to meet the needs of children and young people.
* Conduct direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
* Act as responsible person for managing child protection concerns and complaints.
* Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
* Offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with care Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
* Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Working towards or holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Residential Childcare.
* Current driving license.
Experience
* 1 year’s relevant supervisory experience in the care sector.
