HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our well-established client based in Tamworth, West Midlands.

Shifts:
Working days between Monday - Sunday: start times between 04:00 – 06:00

Rates of pay:
* Monday to Friday (Days): £17.50 per hour
* Saturday: £20.50 per hour
* Sunday: £23.50 per hour
Day-to-day duties:
As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
1. Shunting 45ft and double-deck trailers onto allocated bays
2. Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
3. Carrying out daily yard checks in line with site rules and health and safety guidelines
4. Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
5. Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
6. Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
7. Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
