Are you an experienced Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitter looking to take the next step in your career while remaining hands-on? This role offers the perfect balance, with most of your time spent as a Master Commercial Tyre Technician, alongside some supervisory and leadership responsibilities.
The Role
This position is predominantly a technical role, working across a wide range of commercial tyre fitting and repair activities, with approximately 30% of the role involving supervisory and operational support within the depot.
Key duties include:
* Fit and repair tyres across car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover vehicles - roadside and in-depot
* Acting as a technical lead and supporting the training and development of trainee technicians
* Deputising for the Depot Manager when required, supervising the team and helping ensure KPIs and service standards are met
* Conducting weekly stock checks and vehicle inspections
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the depot while remaining actively involved in hands-on work
