We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of their financial operations and play a key role in driving the next phase of their growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
Own the numbers
* Prepare accurate and insightful monthly management accounts
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Deliver clear financial dashboards and performance insights to leadership and the wider board
Keep the engine running smoothly
* Maintain strong financial controls and processes
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and day-to-day liquidity
* Oversee invoicing, credit control, and supplier payments
* Handle VAT returns, payroll journals, and statutory reporting
* Support audits and liaise with external accountants
Drive smarter decisions
* Partner with leadership on business planning and growth modelling
* Support pricing strategies and commercial analysis
* Evaluate ROI on investments, technology, and new initiatives
* Prepare financial packs for board and investor meetings
Make an impact beyond finance
* Build relationships with stakeholders across the business and externally
* Help scale the finance function, including mentoring and hiring
* Identify cost efficiencies and process improvements
* Ensure full compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and regulations
What We’re Looking For
Essentials
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* 3–5+ years’ experience in a Finance Manager role
* Strong experience with management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
* Solid knowledge of UK financial regulations and VAT
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
* Experience using finance systems to improve efficiency and automation
Nice to have
* Experience in SME, scale-up, or high-growth environments
* Exposure to fleet, transport, or automotive sectors
* Background in tech-enabled or subscription-based businesses
