We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Monmouthshire to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Assistant, on a 12-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £12.85 - £16.32 per hour Summary: As a Business Support Assistant in the Organisation and Workforce Development team, you will play a vital role in delivering key service priorities. You'll support the administration of colleague benefits, recognition programmes, internal communications, and provide direct support to the Head of Organisation and Workforce Development. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about enhancing employee experience within a forward-thinking local authority. Responsibilities: Administer and develop staff benefit schemes, liaising with internal and external providers. Support and coordinate the recognition of long service and retirement acknowledgments. Provide general administrative support to the Head of Organisation and Workforce Development. Support internal staff engagement by updating the intranet (especially content related to health and wellbeing). Assist in the design and delivery of staff surveys and other workforce development initiatives. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint Online. Strong understanding of administrative processes and confidentiality protocols. Familiarity with digital communication and information-sharing platforms. Experience : Proven administrative or clerical experience in a professional environment. Experience working with internal and/or external partners or service providers. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
