The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of business decision-making, working closely with operational teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives. This isn't just about numbers - you'll be a trusted advisor, helping shape the future direction of the business whilst developing your commercial acumen in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior management to provide strategic financial insight and business support
* Prepare detailed management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
* Lead monthly business reviews and present findings to stakeholders
* Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across finance functions
* Support budgeting and planning cycles with operational teams
* Conduct profitability analysis and margin improvement projects
* Assist with project appraisals and capital investment decisions
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* Recently qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist with strong academic results
* 2-4 years' experience in a finance role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
* Proactive approach with genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving
Desirable:
* Experience with financial modelling and business case development
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting
* PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools
* Previous exposure to continuous improvement methodologies
