What We’re Looking For
* Strong engineering or commercial background
* Proven experience in rail drainage, utilities, and civils
* Track record of successful tendering up to £5m
* Chartered or incorporated status (or equivalent)
* Advanced IT skills, including estimating software and Excel
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Willingness to travel for site visits
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead & Deliver: Prepare accurate, competitive estimates aligned with company objectives
* Mentor & Develop: Support and guide junior estimators
* Collaborate & Present: Work with bid managers and planners, and present estimates confidently at adjudication
* Ensure Success: Identify risks, maintain key assumptions, and ensure feasibility and profitability
