Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on an ad-hoc, flexible basis in a well-regarded secondary school in Pontypridd. This role is perfect for graduates, teaching assistants, or anyone looking to take their first step into a school setting. No formal teaching qualifications required – just confidence, adaptability, and a passion for working with young people. Bespoke Cover Supervisor training is provided by a member of the Teaching Personnel team at regular intervals throughout the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain on task Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 Report any concerns or issues to school staff Requirements: Strong classroom presence and confident communication skills Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential) Flexible and reliable with short-notice availability A degree or Level 3 qualification is advantageous but not mandatory A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) Why Join Teaching Personnel?
