Are you an experienced and passionate nurse with a strong background in continence care? We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Band 7 Continence Nurse Specialist to lead and develop high-quality continence services across Leeds Community. This is a pivotal role where you will provide expert clinical care, drive service improvements, and support education for staff and patients alike. You will work autonomously and as part of a nurse led team to deliver evidence-based interventions and personalised care. Main duties of the role You will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management plans for adult patients with complex continence needs in the community setting. Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of continence services across Leeds community. Act as a leader, supporting junior staff and student nurses, and promoting best practices in continence care. Deliver and support training for healthcare professionals, carers, and patients. Collaborate with GPs, community nurses, urology, physiotherapy, and other key stakeholders. Participate in audits, service reviews, and policy development to maintain a high standard of care. Maintain accurate records and contribute to data collection for service monitoring and improvement. This is a city-wide service which operates Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
