Job Title: Customer Operations Order Specialist
Location: Brockworth, Gloucester, United Kingdom
Pay Rate: £20 per hour (PAYE, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Overview:
Handling day-to-day queries from internal and external customers, understanding contractual terms related to key customers, and ensuring business execution against them. Providing weekly status reports on customer orders through collaboration with multiple departments to solve complex customer problems.
The role serves as the key focal point for incoming purchase order reviews, RFQ actions, and customer order administration. You will be responsible for KPI ownership related to department processes and customer accounts, working proactively to meet or exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage customer order books
* Prepare quotes
* Review purchase orders
* Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve potential issues or late deliveries swiftly
* Maintain contract knowledge and execute against contractual terms
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators and initiate remedial actions for negative trends
* Act as liaison between internal teams and customers for assigned contracts
* Negotiate and advocate on behalf of customers to the business
* Follow existing procedures and challenge where appropriate to improve business processes
* Develop strong customer relationships
* Lead continuous improvement projects within the department's scope
