Are you a commercially driven professional with experience in PFI contracts and lifecycle asset management? An award-winning FM provider is seeking a talented Commercial Manager to join their high-performing team managing some of the UK's most critical healthcare infrastructure.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Commercial Manager (Lifecycle Interface) to oversee three high-profile hospital PFI contracts across Manchester, Roehampton, and Romford. This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead the commercial strategy tied to lifecycle works, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure value, compliance, and risk mitigation across complex contract environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead commercial activities tied to lifecycle obligations on 3 hospital PFI contracts
2. Act as the key interface between Project Co, the Hard FM contractor, and internal stakeholders
3. Drive risk management, contract compliance, and issue resolution
4. Lead commercial responses related to asset failure, unavailability, or performance deductions
5. Develop and implement commercial processes to improve lifecycle efficiency and governance
6. Support reporting, stakeholder engagement, and contractual negotiations
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a commercial role within PFI or social infrastructure (e.g., healthcare, education)
* Strong understanding of complex interface agreements and subcontractor dynamics
* Skilled in contract interpretation, claims management, and commercial negotiation
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and working autonomously
* Degree or diploma in law, business, quantity surveying, or related field
