Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Fitter to join our team in Swansea. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and fitting kitchen units, cabinets, worktops, and other carpentry tasks as required. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and kitchen fitting, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and install kitchen units according to specifications
- Fit worktops, cabinets, doors, handles, and other fixtures in kitchens
- Repair or replace damaged cabinets or fixtures as needed
- Follow safety procedures while working on-site
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Kitchen Fitter
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate or apprenticeship in Carpentry/Kitchen Fitting preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Carpenter/Kitchen Fitter
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
