Quirky Digital is seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in improving online visibility and engaging audiences through innovative SEO strategies.
The successful applicant will be an important member of our SEO team, working alongside our team of SEO Managers and guided by our Head of SEO.
Key Responsibilities:
* Independently research and troubleshoot SEO challenges.
* Demonstrate an understanding of client revenue drivers and make decisions informed by commercial considerations.
* Apply a strong understanding of SEO principles and advanced skills in keyword mapping, forecasting, reporting, and technical monitoring/fixes.
* Contribute ideas and input to improve workflows, team performance, or wider business outcomes.
* Collaborate with line managers to proactively advance professional development and client success.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients, ensuring briefs are met accurately and on time.
* Address technical SEO questions from clients and colleagues in a clear and accessible manner.
* Stay up to date with SEO industry trends and algorithm updates, advising on their potential impact for clients.
* Leverage tools such as Google Analytics (GA), Google Search Console (GSC), Semrush, and Screaming Frog to conduct in-depth analysis and support decision-making.
* Use data-led approaches to answer queries, substantiate recommendations, and drive client performance improvements.
* Support junior colleagues in using SEO tools and conducting investigative tasks.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals with advanced knowledge of higher-level SEO practices.
* Proficiency in GA, GSC, Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
* Strong problem-solving and research skills with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of positive feedback from colleagues and clients.
* Ability to present technical concepts in an accessible, client-friendly way.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to align SEO strategies to client revenue goals.
* Proactive approach to professional development and contributing to business growth.

Job Details:
* Job Type: Full-time
* Pay: from £35,000 (depending on experience)
* Additional pay: Quarterly bonus scheme
* Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
* Ability to commute/relocate: Liverpool L8 5RN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
* Work Location: Hybrid remote in Liverpool L8 5RN
