An exciting opportunity exists within Fort Augustus & Glenmoriston Community Company’s finance team. The role is dynamic and can be adapted to suit the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
Some remote working is possible but this will ultimately depend of the skills and experience of the successful candidate. However, the initial three months of the contract will be almost entirely office based whilst in-house training is undertaken.
Working with our existing bookkeeper, the role will involve sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, general ledger, VAT returns, payroll, ad hoc tasks and liaison with the company's auditors. In addition there is a trading subsidiary, so an understanding of stock systems would also be useful. We currently use Xero, Epos Now and MS Office 365 applications e.g. Excel, Word and Outlook.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
