Job Duties:
* Assist in the educational and social development of students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to SEN students in various subjects
* Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Relevant SEN qualification or experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN support strategies
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs
* Strong organisational skills
* Empathy and patience when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* Higher-level teaching assistant qualification
* First aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position, 5 days a week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
