This is a full-time permanent position based in the Solihull area.
Your new role
As General Foreman, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
* Planning daily and weekly works to achieve programme milestones
* Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality procedures
* Managing permits, inspections and method statements (RAMS)
* Driving productivity, quality workmanship and site discipline
* Supporting a positive, collaborative and safety-first site culture.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
* Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
* Full UK driving licence.
