Overview We are currently seeking a Procurement & Stores Co-ordinator to join our team at Roof Tile Factory, Lisburn. As our Procurement & Stores Co-ordinator you will be responsible for managing and coordinating procurement and stores operations, ensuring the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and storage of goods and services. The role focuses on achieving cost-effective procurement, maintaining accurate inventory control, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting continuous improvement in supply chain processes to meet operational and strategic objectives. More About What You Will Do… Health & Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with Health & Safety rules and company policies. Uphold company values and culture in all procurement and stores activities. Procurement & Supplier Management Sourcing of goods and services, obtaining competitive quotations, and negotiating pricing where appropriate. Assist in raising purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed procurement procedures. Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and escalate issues promptly to maintain operational continuity. Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies in pricing, quantity, or quality, ensuring corrective actions are taken. Inventory & Stores Management Maintain an effective administration system for stores inventory, ensuring accurate stock records. Perform regular stock counts, location checks, and inventory reconciliations. Oversee warehouse upkeep, forklift operations, and unloading of vehicles. Collect and prepare items for delivery or pickup according to maintenance schedules. Use scanners and computer systems for inventory control and reporting. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within procurement and stores functions. Contribute to supplier reviews and assist in implementing best practices for procurement efficiency. Other Perform the job in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, especially the Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time-to-time.
