Location: Remote-only (anywhere you can deliver great work, based in the UK)
Job Type: Full-time (4.5 days a week)
Salary: £32,000 p/a gross
Our Mission
We exist to deliver expert Google Ads success for growing businesses — whether lead generation or ecommerce — at a fair, transparent price, leveraging the best of ad technology and human expertise.
We believe:
* In combining deep platform knowledge with automation to drive better outcomes faster.
* In working smart, respecting people's time, and focusing on outputs, not hours.
* In building a culture based on respect for time, technology, outputs, and people.
About the Role
We're looking for a Client Performance Manager to join our delivery team.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Performance to manage and optimise a portfolio of client accounts — across both lead generation and ecommerce businesses.
You’ll be managing real budgets, delivering real results, and making intelligent use of Google Ads automation and AI.
You should be as comfortable crafting a PMax campaign as you are reviewing a Search build for structural integrity.
We're a fast-moving, experienced team — and you'll be working with people who know the craft inside out.
As an early hire at a fast-growing startup, you’ll help shape how we work — it’s high-paced and high-expectation, but offers real ownership, development, and upside.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing a growing portfolio of Google Ads client accounts, across a mix of lead generation and ecommerce.
* Owning campaign performance: budget pacing, bid strategy tuning, testing frameworks, audience management, and ongoing account hygiene.
* Actively using Google Ads automation and AI (Performance Max, Smart Bidding, Broad Match, RSA) — understanding when to trust it and when human intervention is needed.
* Reporting intelligently: cutting through noise to deliver the key business outcomes clients care about (revenue, leads, sales growth).
* Managing your work time and output transparently, with an eye on efficiency and margin.
* Sharing learnings and helping us continually refine how we deliver results.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
* 2–4 years' experience managing live Google Ads campaigns (Search essential, Performance Max preferred).
* Practical knowledge of how to use Google’s automation and AI tools effectively.
* High attention to detail — you spot issues others miss.
* Clear, concise communication skills (internally and externally).
* A remote-working mindset: autonomous, proactive, and organised. We don’t have an office, so you have to be comfortable working completely remote.
* Focus on outputs — we care what you achieve, not how many hours you log.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience managing both lead generation and ecommerce accounts.
* Basic working knowledge of GA4, Tag Manager, and simple conversion tracking setups.
* Agency experience handling multiple client accounts at once.
* Google certifications.
What You'll Get
* Full remote flexibility — we care about results, not where you work from.
* Competitive salary plus performance bonus.
* A team of senior-level practitioners to learn from (6–15+ years’ experience).
* Clear paths to grow and specialise within the company as we scale.
* A company actively working in a 4.5 day week model (respect for time).
* A culture that genuinely values expertise, smart work, and respecting each other.
Our Values
* Respect Time — Get things done well and without wasting others' time.
* Respect Technology — Use the best tools available, stay adaptable, stay sharp.
* Respect Outputs — Focus on real results for clients, not vanity metrics.
* Respect People — Be approachable, collaborative, and generous.
Our Hiring Process
We believe in a clear, respectful, and structured hiring process, so here’s what to expect:
1. Initial Application — Submit your CV and a short written application answering three questions.
2. Screening Interview (30 minutes) — Quick conversation about your experience, goals, and fit.
3. Paid Task — Short practical exercise to demonstrate your Google Ads thinking and attention to detail (paid for your time).
4. Final Interview — Deep-dive discussion with the Managing Director and Head of Performance about working style, expectations, and next steps.
5. Offer Stage — If successful, we'll offer you the role with full salary and bonus structure outlined clearly.
We commit to a clear yes/no answer at each stage.
How to Apply
Send us your CV plus a short note (2–3 paragraphs max) answering:
* The best Google Ads result you’ve personally delivered — and how you achieved it.
* A time you used automation or AI to improve a campaign or save time.
Why Join Now?
We're scaling fast, winning great clients, and building a company focused on real results, fairness, and expert-led growth.
If you want to do great work, be respected for it, and have the freedom to work the way you work best — we'd love to hear from you.
Notes:
* Role is full-time (4.5 days / week)
* Remote-only (UK only).
* Start date: As soon as the right person is ready. (Ideally June)
