We have an exciting opportunity for a GP to join our friendly Practice, Calsayseat Medical Group, located in the City Centre of Aberdeen. We have around 12,000 patients and we are looking to increase our current GP team by around 4-6 sessions.
We are a well-established and supportive team who are friendly and welcoming as well as being a teaching practice with medical students and FY2 doctors. We are hoping to soon reestablish ourselves as a training practice and are looking forward to welcoming GP trainees into the practice .
We have GPs who specialise in substance misuse, minor surgery and teaching and with the right candidate, we would be happy to discuss any particular area of interest that they would like to pursue, alongside General Medical Services.
Our multi-disciplinary practice employed house teams include a full-time pharmacy team supported by technicians, an experienced practice nursing team, a Mental Health Nurse as well as 3 Physician Associates and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. We also have a First Contact Physiotherapist in the building, 3 days per week. We have low numbers of house visits as we utilise the city visits team for many acute visits. On-site ACIS and CAB consultations are a huge practical support for our patients.
The right person will have a commitment to offering a high standard of patient care, be a great team player, be positive, highly motivated and be willing to work between 4 and 6 sessions.
The remuneration will be discussed at the interview stage.
