Head of HR (Interim)Location: West Midlands (minimum 2 days per week)
Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: £550–£650 per day
The OpportunityWe are recruiting an experienced Head of HR to provide strategic leadership across a large directorate, supporting a workforce of approximately 2,500–3,000 employees.This role will play a key part in driving people strategy, transformation, and organisational effectiveness, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver HR strategy aligned to business and organisational priorities.
2. Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives
3. Oversee key HR portfolios ( Talent, DEI, Workforce Strategy, Early Careers)
4. Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing data-driven insight
5. Lead and support organisational change and transformation initiatives
6. Work collaboratively across HR functions in a matrix environment
7. Ensurepliance with HR policies,ernance and employment law
About You
8. Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role in a large,plex organisation
9. Strong background in driving organisational change and transformation
10. Experience working across multiple HR specialisms
11. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
12. Data-driven andmercially aware
13. CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
