International Conversion Assistant
Salary: £24,334 – £26,338 p.a. (Grade 4)
Bangor University, International Education Centre – 2‑year full‑time post in the International Marketing and Conversion team. The contract may be extended, and part‑time or job‑share arrangements are considered.
Responsibilities
* Serve as high‑quality first point of contact for prospective students, applicants, and other stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service across multiple enquiry channels.
* Support development of knowledge base content and call scripts.
* Monitor service performance and contribute to continual improvement within the international recruitment enquiry management service.
* Use multiple enquiry channels (e.g., telephone, email, online chat) to provide timely and accurate responses.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 GCSEs at grades A*‑C (incl. English and Maths) or NVQ level 2 in a relevant subject area.
* Recent experience in a customer‑service environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident communicator able to engage effectively with students and stakeholders.
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a supportive environment.
Working Arrangements
Role located on campus at Bangor, with the option to spend some time working remotely (within the UK) under the Dynamic Working framework.
Contract is 2 years initially, may be extended. The successful candidate is expected to commence as soon as possible.
