We're looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Lead to join our team on a 3–6 month contract (with potential extension). This role is Outside IR35 and offers a hybrid working model, with on-site presence in Sheffield a few days per week.
You’ll be leading the design and implementation of robust, scalable AWS solutions for a major transformation project. Ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of cloud architecture decisions while collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
🔧 AWS Cloud Solutions Lead Key Skills & Experience
* Proven ability to lead cloud projects, manage migration efforts, and deliver high-quality outcomes - management and mentoring experienc
* Deep expertise in AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS, EKS
* Strong grasp of cloud architecture, IaC, and security best practices
* Proficient with DevOps and automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions
* Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration
* Hands-on scripting with Python, Bash, and experience working with JSON/YAML
* Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and cost optimisation within AWS environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
