Our client is a major design, engineering and project management consultancy who has been rapidly growing within various sectors and who is looking for multiple experienced professionals to join them on permanent basis. Due to a growing workload in the UK and overseas they are seeking a Surface Water Management Specialist to strengthen their existing team of drainage engineers and landscape architects. This role is located in their Bristol office.
You will be part of a team within the Asset Planning and Solutions Practice leading and shaping the dialogue and policy within the UK and internationally in how green blue infrastructure is an integrated part of drainage, development, and master planning.
The role would suit an Engineer or Consultant with experience working with and/or designing SuDS who enjoys taking ownership of projects, delivering schemes and being responsible for guiding and developing more junior team members.
Responsibilities:

- Lead and contribute to the delivery of engineering projects (UK and overseas), from inception to handover, to required budget and deadlines.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment across UK and international teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure the quality of project work meets the agreed standards and specifications.
- Be client focused and able to develop good working relationships with clients; understand client needs and help propose best value technical solutions to meet project challenges.
- Liaise with and support other multi-disciplinary teams, Project Managers and Directors across the wider UK home and international markets.
- Act as a mentor to other team members.
- Have a proactive commitment to Health and Safety and good knowledge of CDM requirements.
- Lead and contribute to the application of digital engineering initiatives and innovative advances in water sector solutions.
