Responsibility
What will you be responsible for:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with various special educational needs.
* Assessing student progress through formal and informal methods, analysing performance data to inform instruction.
* Adapting learning materials to ensure accessibility for all students.
* Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.
* Fostering a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Specifically the activities will be:
Creating differentiated lesson plans, implementing assessment strategies, modifying resources, working with support staff and parents, and managing classroom behaviour.
Experience
What requirements are we looking for?
* Proven experience in teaching students with a range of special educational needs within the UK education system.
* A thorough understanding of SEN policies, effective intervention strategies, and current best practices in SEN education.
* Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership skills.
Requirements/Skills
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A current, clear Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one immediately.
* Experience in adapting teaching methods and resources for diverse learning requirements.
