Belle Époque Patisserie is composed of two French pastry boutiques based in central London. Belle Époque is regularly touted as one of the best patisseries in London, offering an extensive selection of cakes, chocolates, breads, viennoiseries, tarts, and quiches, all made to high standards.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Pastry Chef to join our team at Belle Époque Patisserie. The responsibilities include:
1. Preparing pastries, including dough and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
2. Reviewing production sheets to understand the variety of baked goods to be produced daily.
3. Preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
4. Safely and appropriately using baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances.
5. Following and ensuring compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene.
6. Checking and ensuring correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting issues to the Chef.
7. Monitoring the quality of food prepared and portions served.
8. Following all company policies and procedures, including safety and security.
The position is full-time, five days a week, including weekends. All candidates will be required to provide proof of right to work in the UK.
