Role Summary
Becoming a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer at Mitsubishi Chemical offers an exciting opportunity to work on major projects globally. You will be the key individual on all capital projects, providing input on Civil/Structural matters. Your role will include ensuring project design, procurement, fabrication, and construction align with legal, engineering, and company standards to meet overall objectives. Key Responsibilities
* Act as the subject matter expert for all civil & structural issues within the company.
* Provide professional support to ensure structural designs are technically robust and cost-effective, offering advice during early project stages.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of company standards through the Asset Integrity Procedure (AIP).
* Assist in selecting subcontractors and evaluating technical build aspects using engineering knowledge.
* Review and comment on civil & structural design deliverables from engineering contractors (EPC, Fabrication, Construction).
* Participate in project and design review meetings to ensure design compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications/Experience
* Significant experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas sectors.
* Experience in major projects, including front end, detailed design, and construction phases.
* Chartered Engineer or registered Professional Engineer.
* Strong technical engineering knowledge, especially in Process Unit Modularisation & Prefabricated Buildings.
* Willingness to travel for work purposes.
