Job Title: PCO Expansion Cost Controller - Submarines
Working location: Raynesway, Derby
Grade: 7-8
As Project Controls Professional, you will provide high quality project controls services to the PCO Expansion project team, developing and delivering a major new investment to the RRSL Raynesway campus. The opportunity will allow you to be a key stakeholder in the Project Management team, shaping and delivering the new capability and facility, which will incorporate world class manufacturing of complex engineering components, state of the art technical engineering office environments and critical infrastructure services to support our business programmes and Estate Develop plan.

What you will be doing:
Working within the PCO Expansion Project Controls team, you will support the Project Controls Lead to,
* Implement and maintain project controls processes for cost, including the production of monthly reports, through the provision of intelligent information and analysis.
* Collaborate with other disciplines of Project Controls within the PCO Expansion Project, as well as other support functions.
* Produce and maintain accurate cost forecasts for the Project.
* Accurately maintain cost data for the Project.
* Co-ordinate and produce cost reports to a defined reporting cycle for the Project
* Manage cost performance for your allocated WBS scope (ON CON and NOT CON), developing an accurate assessment of EAC and FCAC.
* Assist in the trend & change process, including production of Project change reports, analysis of cost impact and provision of feedback on areas of risk and opportunities.
* Review and integrate forecasts provided by PCO Expansion Delivery Partners and suppliers.
* Assist with analysis of earned value.
* Adhere to programme governance and cost procedures.

* You are an experienced project controls professional looking for that next step to manage WBS(s) within a Major Infrastructure Project. Minimum Technical and Behavioural competency level 2 against the RR PMO Framework.
* You will have a good working knowledge of Excel, SAP, Coupa, and P6, and general requirements for standard drumbeat cost reporting within RRSL.
* You are a Team player who can thrive in their specific area of expertise, whilst also having shared ownership of the wider project vision, culture, and principles.
* You are someone who wants to grow, learn, and share their knowledge and experience, whilst also embracing the use of a high performance and situational leadership team-based culture, being bold and agile deploying innovation and creativity to improve our chances of delivering better, quicker, faster, whilst having fun and staying safe.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
