Our client, a well-established transport and freight company based in Newtownabbey, is seeking a proactive and organised Road Freight Customer Service Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics or road freight who enjoys providing high-quality customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for customer queries and shipment updates
Manage daily road freight bookings and track deliveries
Liaise with drivers, internal departments, and external partners to ensure smooth operations
Handle documentation, PODs, and system updates accurately
Resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in logistics, road freight, or a transport office environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Competent IT skills; experience with transport systems is an advantage
