We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager at Hill House residential care home. Monday - Friday 09.00-17.00.Salary: £34,125 per annum - £36,270 per annum The Role of Deputy Care Home Manager Support the Registered Manager in leading and motivating the team to ensure they are aligned with the home’s vision, values and standards of care Lead and oversee care delivery, ensuring continuous assessment, care planning, implementation and review of residents’ needs Ensure staff follow policies, procedures and professional codes of conduct Maintain effective communication with staff, residents, relatives and external professionals Promote a flexible, responsive approach to meet the changing needs of residents and the home Support staff supervision, appraisals, training and professional development Complete audits, monitor quality standards and implement action plans for continuous improvement, maintaining compliance with CQC standards Ensure safeguarding, risk assessments and incident management procedures are followed Work collaboratively with district nurses, GPs, social workers and safeguarding teams to support residents’ healthcare needs Provide management cover in the absence of the Registered Manager Skills & Experience: NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Willingness to work towards Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification Proven experience working with older people in a residential or social care setting Previous experience leading or supervising a team (ideally 2 years) Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred care Good knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good written, organisational and IT skills Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and professionals Flexible and adaptable approach to working within a care home environment Staff benefits: £34,125 per annum - £36,270 per annum, benchmarked annually.
