Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and spreadsheet savvy Operations Administrator to join our small team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business - from stock reporting and analytics to coordinating large deliveries to our big retail customers. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent computer proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
The Drinks Bureau makes ready-to-drink cocktails in cans and "on tap" 10-serving boxes. We are at a pivotal point in the business, with big new listings in grocery and retail and growth within the bars and events space. With this growth we now require a team member to help keep our operations (in particular productions and deliveries) in order.
Duties
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to assist with efficient day-to-day operations.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
* Coordinating order fulfilment between warehouse and retailers, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries
* Processing purchase orders and assisting with invoicing
* Using rate-of-sale and forecasting to assist in production planning
* Assist with clerical duties such as scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.
* Manage incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Requirements
* Previous adminstrative experience is essential.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications and with a high level of experience and expertise using Excel.
* Experience using Xero or a similar accounting software.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Demonstrated experience in an administrative role.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
