We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Romford, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Reception class, delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. The Role
As a Reception Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that promote development across all areas of the EYFS. You will create a well-organised, stimulating classroom and outdoor environment that supports learning through play and exploration. Observation, assessment, and planning next steps will be central to your role, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.
You will work closely with teaching assistants and Early Years colleagues to ensure consistency and high-quality provision. Building strong relationships with parents and carers will be a key part of the role, supporting children’s development both in school and at home.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Reception provision in line with the EYFS

The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in Reception or Early Years
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic
* Have excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
* Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
* Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
