Winners in the Third Sector category at the Cornwall Business Awards and one of the fastest-growing landlords in the country, we are proud to be a key provider of housing and support in Cornwall. This includes social housing for thousands of people, shared ownership, and rent-to-buy homes to help people get a home of their own. Our Extra Care scheme in Redruth houses many older people, and our services for those experiencing homelessness assist hundreds each year.

About the job
Coastline Housing seeks a motivated individual for a 12-month Leasehold and Service Charge Apprenticeship. You will work alongside our Leasehold and Service Charge Team, gaining hands-on experience while completing the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting remotely, with weekly support sessions from your tutor.
You will be allocated a work mentor, receive comprehensive training, guidance, and support. Access to Coastline's internal Apprentice networking group will enable you to connect with other apprentices, share experiences, and build relationships.
Key responsibilities include collecting payments, communicating with customers about service charges, assisting with legal paperwork, answering lease-related questions, supporting financial processes, maintaining tenancies, updating systems accurately, and collaborating across departments.
The ideal candidate will have a basic education, be eager to learn, and embody Coastline’s core values. Although this is a fixed-term contract, there may be opportunities for a permanent role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
If you are hardworking, share our values, and are ambitious to start a rewarding career, we encourage you to apply. Please include a covering letter explaining how you meet the required competencies and skills and why you are a good fit for Coastline.
