Quality Technician

You'll be part of a supportive technical team that plays a vital role in maintaining compliance and ensuring customers receive consistently high-quality products.
Quality Technician Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
Support and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRCGS and HACCP requirements.
Conduct internal audits, GMP inspections, and assist with third-party audits or customer visits.
Record, investigate, and help resolve non-conformances and customer complaints.
Verify that production and hygiene teams are following correct procedures and good manufacturing practice (GMP).
Maintain accurate quality documentation and ensure traceability is upheld at all times.
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in quality systems and site standards. Skills & Experience Required as a Quality Technician:
Previous experience in QA/QC within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, and food safety standards (qualification desirable).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with production and technical teams.
Competent using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate digital records.
A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for quality and compliance.
