As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead key projects and drive operational success from our South Australia operations
Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee complex, large-scale projects across manufacturing, mining, and defence from initiation through to delivery. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to strict quality and safety standards. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Execution: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. Define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Operational Oversight: Coordinate fabrication, machining, and installation activities to meet quality and compliance requirements.
* Financial Management: Monitor costs, manage contract variations, and ensure accurate project reporting.
* Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to industry standards (AS/NZS, ISO, WHS), conduct risk assessments, and lead safety initiatives.
About You
* Education: Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
* Experience: 5+ years’ experience managing manufacturing, defence, or mining projects.
* Technical: Knowledge of PMBOK or PRINCE2; skilled in MS Project, Primavera, and reading technical drawings.
* Sector Experience: Familiarity with defence and mining project requirements, standards, and compliance protocols
