Housing Management Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) – Birmingham, Bristol or Leeds
Join the Bevan Brittan LLP Housing Management team. The position is based in either Bristol, Birmingham or Leeds, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
The role
The team has experienced significant growth and now is one of the largest housing management practices in the country. This role involves advising social landlords (and other landlords) on a wide range of housing management issues, including:
* Possession claims
* Anti‑social behaviour litigation and advice
* Cases involving the Equality Act 2010 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
* Breach of tenancy claims
* Access injunctions for gas and electricity safety
* Failed succession cases
What we are looking for from you
Previous experience working for social landlords is essential, with experience of acting for housing associations being desirable. The successful applicant will possess the following skills, which are key to the role:
* Extremely organised with a keen eye for detail
* The ability to manage client expectations
* Strong communication skills with a professional approach to work
* Confidence in working directly with clients
* An ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
* An aptitude for drafting and legal analysis
* A team player with a keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at junior and senior levels
