3. Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
4. Maintain records of financial transactions, including updating the accounts payable ledger.
5. Handle supplier queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
6. Prepare payment runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.
7. Reconcile supplier statements and identify any outstanding issues.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
9. Assist in month-end closing processes and reporting.
10. Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Previous experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
12. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
14. A solid understanding of financial processes and procedures.
15. The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
