Responsibilities
* Provide carer support to the family of a 90-year-old mother with a sitting service that may also require personal care.
* Personal care, including mobility assistance and toileting as needed.
* Prepare food and drinks.
* Engage in social interaction and conversation.
* Support with personal care.
* Possible support to health appointments.
* Maintain interests in gardens, plants, colour and designs, reading, poetry, word searches and word puzzles.
* Assist with garden centre activities for coffee and cake.
* Respect confidentiality, privacy, dignity and independence of the client.
* Use own vehicle with business insurance to travel to appointments or social activities.
Requirements
* Car owner with own vehicle and business insurance.
* Must like dogs.
* Responsible, reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
* Good communication and social skills.
* Flexible and able to work on own initiative.
* Understanding, adaptable and organised.
* Kind and caring.
* Must be able to prove right to work in the UK.
* Must be willing to provide DBS clearance and references, if required.
* No sponsorship available.
