Bright Purple is working with a globally recognised risk intelligence company at the forefront of ESG, climate, and political risk data. They’re now on the lookout for a Python Developer to support their mission by building the data infrastructure that underpins their cutting-edge insight platforms.
You’ll be stepping into a fast-paced, data-focused environment where you’ll own the development of robust APIs, streamlined data flows, and orchestrated pipelines—with the flexibility to hit the ground running and make real impact.
What you'll be working on:
Developing and integrating Python-based APIs
Building and optimising data pipelines and ETL workflows
Working with orchestration tools like Airflow, Metaflow, or Prefect
Deploying scalable solutions in AWS environments
Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to streamline platform performance
What you'll bring:
Strong Python development experience
Proven background in data engineering, APIs, and workflow orchestration
Hands-on experience with Airflow, Metaflow, or Prefect
Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native tooling
Available to start immediately

Initial contract, 9 months with potential for extension
