We’re looking for a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our busy workshop at Volvo Trucks Ipswich. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing Volvo commercial vehicles to the highest standards of safety and performance.
Whether you're a seasoned technician or looking to take the next step in your HGV career, you'll benefit from world-class manufacturer training and a supportive team environment.
What will you do
* Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Volvo HGVs and trailers
* Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
* Complete job cards and service records accurately
* Work efficiently and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
* Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working area
Who are you
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
* Previous experience in a commercial vehicle workshop (Volvo experience a plus)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering top-quality work
