Revit CAD Technician
Are you an experienced CAD technician looking to join an independent, growing company who really value their team, provide an excellent working environment and varied work?
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical drawing, quality control, and improving drawing standards. A large part of the role involves reviewing and quality-checking work produced by others, ensuring drawings are accurate, consistent, and delivered to a high standard.
You’ll also produce drawings yourself when needed... particularly where it’s quicker or more efficient to complete the work internally.
If you’re someone who spots errors others miss, understands how to produce clean and accurate floor plans, and takes pride in delivering high-quality output, this could be a strong fit.
As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing and quality-checking Revit drawings
* Ensuring all drawings meet company standards and project requirements
* Producing floor plans and technical drawings when required
* Identifying inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or missing details before issue
* Working closely with internal stakeholders to maintain drawing quality and efficiency
* Supporting a smooth workflow between outsourced drawing production and final delivery
You will have the following skills and experience:
* Strong experience using Revit in a professional environment
* Previous experience reviewing or quality-checking technical drawings
* Ability to produce accurate floor plans and technical drawings independently
* Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality control
* Able to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
* Comfortable working remotely while staying accountable and organised
* Good communication skills
