**This is hybrid role with one day per week in the office (Canterbury)**
Job Purpose:
The Conference Producer plays a central role in shaping the content and experience of our market-leading events. This position involves collaborating across all departments, taking the lead in understanding specific markets and developing compelling conference programmes, webinars, and other content for the brands under your care. A key aspect of this role is owning the entire speaker journey, from initial outreach to on-site management and post-event engagement. Your day-to-day could involve conducting research calls with senior Talent Acquisition executives, analysing delegate lists to understand attendee trends, proofing and providing feedback on marketing materials, or meticulously planning the logistics for our event speakers. Conference production is a dynamic and rewarding career, requiring a proactive approach to meet deadlines and performance targets, and a commitment to evaluating and developing your own work to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management and Production: Oversee the content and conferences under your care, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
* Speaker Journey Ownership:
* Identify and recruit high-calibre speakers who are experts and innovators in the Talent Acquisition space.
* Develop compelling speaker propositions and manage all communication.
* Collaborate with speakers on content development, presentation creation, and rehearsal.
* Provide a seamless on-site experience for all speakers.
* Facilitate post-event follow-up and feedback.
* Content Creation: Write engaging copy for conference programmes, webinars, speaker interviews, blog posts, and other content.
* Market Research: Conduct in-depth desk and phone research to identify market trends, hot topics, and new conference opportunities within the Talent Acquisition landscape.
* Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key industry figures and potential speakers.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing on sponsorship and marketing deliverables, ensuring alignment and success.
* On-site Delivery: Oversee the on-site execution of the event, ensuring smooth delivery of all conference elements.
Qualifications

* Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in conference production or a similar role (e.g., market research/analyst, journalism, content marketing).
* Analytical: Excels at making sense of diverse information, drawing well-founded conclusions, and presenting them concisely.

* Technical Skills (Bonus): Experience of using a speaker management platform (Ideally, Session board) and data analytics tools such as Excel, Google Data Studio, or similar.
