We are seeking an exceptional and visible clinical leader to join our organisation as the Deputy Head of Nursing for Cardiology, Respiratory and Renal. Frimley Health Foundation Trust has cross site cardiorespiratory services at both Wexham Park and Frimley Park hospital sites including cardiac catheter labs, cardiac investigation units, medical acute dependency units (respiratory) and a day case ambulatory renal unit at Frimley. As Deputy Head of Nursing, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of wards, ambulatory services, specialist teams, and acute pathways. Person specification Essential Essential criteria Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration. Master’s Degree / working to completion of master’s degree or equivalent. Recognised leadership or management qualification or significant equivalent experience. Evidence of continuous professional development through CPD. Desirable criteria Qualifications: Non Medical Prescribing Experience Essential criteria Experience : Substantial experience at a senior level in the required specialty area, with a significant period at Band 8a. Significant operational & budget experience at Senior level. Proven Clinical experience relating to fields of responsibility and an autonomous practitioner/leader. Ability to clearly evidence continuous quality improvement. Robust patient safety and clinical governance knowledge and experience. Evidence of managing clinical services, service innovation and up to date knowledge of nursing policy and strategy.
