We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support childrens learning within our school. We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable, hardworking, enthusiastic and caring. Experience of SEND would be an advantage – in particular knowledge of Speech and Language barriers to learning. You will enjoy ensuring high standards of support across the whole curriculum and be supportive of the distinctive Christian ethos of a church school. Silverdale St Johns CE Primary School is a wonderful Church of England primary school situated in the beautiful, coastal village of Silverdale in North Lancashire. We are very excited to be appointing a team player who has the ability to communicate well and build positive relationships with all in the school community. TA2B - 15 hours per week on a variable contract with a minimum of 5 hours guaranteed. The 5 minimum hours guaranteed is noted in case of future budgetary requirements. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
* Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
Desirable Qualifications
* Paediatric First Aid/First Aid certificate
Essential Experience
* Experience of working in a classroom environment
* Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and knowledge of the National Curriculum
Desirable Experience
* Experience of supporting pupils with speech and language barriers to learning
