Role Overview
This role is within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful candidate is expected to:
1. Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using various hand tools, power tools, or equipment.
2. Conduct in-depth inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units.
* Conduct inspections to meet quality standards.
* Align, adjust, and perform secondary machining as required.
* Work from drawings, specifications, and shop orders.
* Use precision measuring instruments and gauging devices.
* Operate cranes, hoists, or lift tables.
* Identify and report product defects.
* Maintain accurate production records.
* Follow health and safety guidelines.
* Protect company confidentiality.
* Engage in professional development activities.
* Participate in team projects and contribute to overall success.
Minimum Qualifications
* No minimum education required.
* At least 1 year of manufacturing experience or demonstrated competence.
* Intermediate mechanical aptitude.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous manufacturing experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50/hour. The base pay may vary based on factors such as location, education, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) match, paid holidays, and PTO upon hire. This position is also eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan.
