Job Opportunity: Senior Credit Controller Location : Leicester Salary : £30,000 - £35,000 Start Date : ASAP Work Arrangement : Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) Qualifications : Not Essential and open to candidates qualified by experience (QBE) At least 5 years of experience in credit control Minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry Key Responsibilities: Manage payment collections from private and public sector clients via phone and email. Ensure invoices are correctly sent and processes are followed, including distributing monthly statements and monitoring portals and inboxes. Address billing reconciliation queries, purchase order issues, portal problems, invoice uploads, and invoicing errors. Issue credits and correct billing errors to facilitate payments. Collaborate with project managers or job leads to ensure swift resolution and payment, documenting all interactions promptly. Maintain a database of job-level contacts and monitor credit limits for each client. Identify and escalate credit risks and concerns as necessary. Update payment promises and remittances daily, including cash forecasting.
