Key Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain the end-to-end automated release management for Salesforce using Azure DevOps pipelines. Automate any pre or post required manual deployment steps. Integrate best practices from the Salesforce platform and DevOps methodologies to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams. Document the DevOps process to enable use by the Project Teams. Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues discovered during operations. Maintain the security and integrity of the DevOps system. Work with the Release Manager on creating the optimum version control system. Work with the Release Manager on the overall release process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating deployments. Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes. Key Outputs and Deliverables CI/CD Pipeline Management Fully functional YAML based Azure DevOps pipelines. Automated execution of regression testing scripts. The use of version control system to enable code merge between different projects. The creation of a rollback process. Environment and Configuration Management Automated creation of Sandbox. Work with the release manager in creating an affective environment strategy. Quality and Compliance Automated Testing Frameworks: Unit tests, static code analysis. Ensure 99.9% uptime for Azure-hosted applications and services. Maintain and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines to achieve code merge and deployment frequency of at least 2 per month. Monitor and resolve system incidents within SLA-defined timeframes (e.g., Person specification Essential Criteria Experience in Automation within Salesforce (lead criteria). Understanding of OwnBackup, Mulesoft API Gateway (lead criteria). Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps platform. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Salesforce CLI, Bash Scripting & YAML. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. Desirable Criteria Salesforce Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect certification. Knowledge of security best practices in Azure DevOps. Experience with Agile methodologies.
