We currently have a vacancy for a
Minibus Driver
Term Time Only (34 weeks) plus 6 Inset Days, Fixed Term Contract to July 2026
Monday to Friday, 6.45am – 8.45am
To start as soon as possible

Duties will include:
* Collecting students from set points on a given route, dropping them at school
* Being responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all minibuses
The successful candidate will:
* Have held a full, clean driving licence for more than 3 years
* Have the ability to work with others as part of a team and to respond to
emergencies

Job Description
Job Title: Minibus Driver
Responsible to: Premises Manager
Main Purpose of role
To provide a safe and reliable minibus service for the students journey to school in the morning. Also
to maintain the minibuses to a high standard ensuring they meet all legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
Minibus
* Drive the minibus each morning on the route given by the Premises Manager to provide a
service into school for pupils
* Maintain, clean and perform such tasks as needed to ensure all minibuses are safe and
roadworthy
* Liaise with the Premises Manager regarding any problems relating to the minibuses
* To be the back up minibus driver in the event of staff shortages, taking students and staff to
events and functions
* Be responsible for cleaning the interior of the minibus and organsing the exterior cleaning
