Fixed term apprenticeship - 24 months Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you enjoy organising events, working with people of all ages, and developing new skills? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Communities Team as an Event and Community Support Apprentice. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting and empowering local communities to grow and thrive. You’ll assist with the day-to-day operations of the team, delivering excellent customer service while gaining hands-on experience in event planning, community engagement, and administrative support. Your responsibilities will include liaising with external stakeholders, supporting the delivery of events and activities and contributing to a wide range of community projects. Some travel and occasional out-of-hours work will be required to support events and community meetings. As part of the role, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Events Assistant apprenticeship, with dedicated study time provided during your working hours. Minimum entry requirements for apprenticeships in England include: English and maths at Level 2 (GCSE 4 and above / A-C). If you have not previously achieved these grades, or if you are unable to provide evidence of the qualifications, then you may need to complete these qualifications during your apprenticeship training. As this is a Level 3 Events and Community Support Apprenticeship, you should not already possess substantial skills or qualifications of the same level or higher, in this subject. You must be a citizen of the UK or European Economic Area (EEA), or have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 consecutive years and have a Right to work in the UK.
