The Robert Burns Ellisland Trust (RBET) is seeking a strategic, client-side Project Manager to lead the "Saving the Home of Auld Lang Syne" project. This major heritage regeneration project focuses on the A-listed farm where Robert Burns wrote his most famous works.
Role Description
You will provide senior-level oversight during RIBA Stage 4 (Technical Design). Key duties include:
Leadership: Managing the RIBA Stage 4 programme, design fees, and reporting to Trustees.
Conservation: Ensuring all technical designs and cost decisions align strictly with the project's Conservation Plan.
Coordination: Overseeing a multidisciplinary team to ensure survey data is fully integrated into the design.
Compliance: Providing independent assurance that procurement is transparent and meets the requirements of major funders.
Candidate Profile
Experience: Senior client-side project management background.
Heritage Expertise: Proven track record with A-listed buildings and Conservation Plans.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of RIBA Stage 4 and procurement governance. Heritage-related accreditation, such as RIBA, RICS, RIAS or CIOB.
IHBC Full or Associate membership is desirable.
Funding: Familiarity with publicly funded projects.
